This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit from http://karenx.ca (the “Site”).

Additionally when you get a free quote, register for seminars or attempt to get a free quote or register for seminars through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, email address, , address, phone number, genders, occupation, net worth, credit information, lifestyle information, health information, income and social insurance number.  We refer to this information as “Individual Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Individual Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Individual Information that we collect generally for the purposes of providing and servicing financial products.  Additionally, we use this Individual Information to:
Communicate with you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We may collect your personal information from and transfer your personal information to the insurance and fund companies to whom you have applied for coverage; for the purposes of assisting them in evaluating risks for life insurance (underwriting), investigations, servicing and administration, and claims. All of our service providers with whom we have a contractual relationship are required to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our privacy practices, where we have transferred your personal information to these parties.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
